DIY: Homemade Sidewalk Paint - Patio Disco Dance Floor

 

Make Your Own Sidewalk Paint with 3 Cheap and Easy Ingredients!

Recently I hosted a disco dance party for a bunch of little kids in my backyard. We tried this new method of making sidewalk paint to create a disco dance floor. It was VERY easy, VERY economical and really cool looking!

First, the RECIPE:

1C water
1C corn starch
2T gel food coloring

Then, just stir it up well and get some cheap paint brushes and go! So easy, my 2 year old was able to do it without trouble.

It was a great time and they danced for hours!

 The paint started to fade as the kids danced on it, which was fine with me.

Also, it rained later that day and it completely washed away every bit of paint and color with absolutely no trace of the paint left behind!
